Zialena Winery is a small-production, family-owned estate in Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, known for estate grown and produced Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and concrete egg–fermented Sauvignon Blanc. We offer seated tastings by appointment in a casual environment, just minutes from downtown Healdsburg.

1897 Tasting
An introduction to Zialena Wines while relaxing on the patio, overlooking the family’s 100-acre Mazzoni Vineyard. Along the way, we share stories of the land, the region, and the Mazzoni family, with the opportunity to take in the vineyard up close.
This semi-private seated patio experience is open to the public seven days a week, 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Reservations appreciated but not required. Uncle Fred's Flight
Uncle Fred's Flight
Inspired by Mazzoni Family prohibition nostalgia, Uncle Fred's Flight brings a little of Uncle Fred's irreverence indoors for the winter season.
Pull up a chair and enjoy two tasting pours from a selection of Zialena's current releases, followed by a full glass of our 2023 Mazzoni Special, an easygoing estate Zinfandel typically reserved for family, friends, and those lucky enough to be in the know. Offered exclusively by the case and secured for our on-site guests, we're bending the rules a little this winter and, in true Uncle Fred fashion, letting the cat out of the bag.
No Fuss. No Formalities.
There's no formal presentation, dedicated host, or lengthy tour. Our hospitality team will introduce your wines and be available for questions, but the rest is up to you. Seating is casual and may be communal.

Includes two tasting pours of your choice from our current releases and one glass of Mazzoni Special per guest.
This limited seasonal experience is offered indoors or outdoors during select winter business hours and is subject to availability. Mazzoni Special is a limited release, available while supplies last. Reservations are encouraged; walk-ins are welcome as space permits.

This experience is reserved for guests 21 and older. No pets, please. Each $20 reservation fee will be refunded with the purchase of one case of 2023 Mazzoni Special.
Heritage Tour
Discover the heart of Zialena on this immersive walking and winery-vehicle tour through our 100-acre estate vineyard. Led by a dedicated host, enjoy family stories, hands-on farming insights, and an in-the- vineyard tasting of our Estate Zinfandels beneath towering oak trees. Individual charcuterie boxes included! The experience continues with a guided production tour highlighting our custom concrete fermentation tanks, and concludes in our private Winery Suite with an exploration of our Cabernet Sauvignon program, an intimate look at the Mazzoni Family legacy, century old farmland, and unique craftsmanship behind Zialena.
