Jana Churich, Director of Sales

As a devoted wine enthusiast and a lifelong Sonoma County resident, Jana has spent most of her free time exploring local food, wine & beer events and golf courses. After a trip to Costa Rica, she realized the happiest people are often those who work where others travel and thus began her career into wine sales at Trinchero Napa Valley in St. Helena, California. After cutting her teeth “on the other side of the hill” she ventured into the Dry Creek Valley as an Event Manager for Quivira Vineyards and Winery where she honed her skills for creative, luxury-level wine dinners, weddings, and events. Her next endeavor would lead her down-river to the indelible Wiliams Selyem Winery where she spent the better part of a decade selling Russian River Valley Pinot Noir offering high touch hospitality, customer service, events, and sales. Jana joined Zialena in the Fall 2023 as Director of Sales. Like the Mazzoni’s, Jana has fond memories of hand rolling ravioli’s in her great grandmother’s garage in San Francisco. With a passion for all things Italian- food, leather bags and shoes, and cars, she joins Lisa and Mark’s fourth- generation Italian winegrowing family, full circle from her own Italian heritage and right at home in Geyserville, CA.

Matt Proschold, Hospitality Manager

Matt has worked in hospitality the majority of his life starting from dishwasher and promoting up to general manager in the restaurant industry for such companies as Ruth’s Chris Steak House and The Spanish Hills Club. In the wine industry, Matt wore many hats including tasting room associate to DTC Manager for Dry Creek Vineyards, Sbragia Family Vineyards and Penner-Ash Wine Cellars in Oregon.

Matt loves offering hospitality and believes that providing food, beverage and comfort are the most intimate and caring thing a human can do for another. As a wine country native, Matt is excited to join a winery like Zialena with an amazing story that allows him to help create precious memories for others while promoting Geyserville Wine country and greater Sonoma County.

Raymond Rolander, Tasting Room Supervisor

Raymond is locally grown and sourced in Sonoma County, and grew up just outside Santa Rosa in Bennett Valley. For the last 20 years he has been working in the local Wine Industry in hospitality, sales and wine education. After running tasting rooms at Arrowood Winery in Sonoma Valley and Bella Vineyard & Wine Caves in Dry Creek Valley, he started his own wine tour company in 2012, Wine Cube Tours. Raymond started working with Lisa back in 2016 when she was hosting tastings at her father’s house at the top of the vineyard overlooking the construction project that was slowly becoming Zialena Winery.
